Guild members also meet each Spring, typically in a wine or spirit producing region such as Sonoma, Napa or Scotland. Along with several days devoted to best practice presentations, there are numerous meetings “in the field” offering members a chance to meet and learn from producers on their own turf.

The Denver International Spirits Competition (DISC) is the region’s largest double-blind professional spirits competition. The DISC is one of only a handful of other international spirit competitions of its type worldwide. Spirits judging is done on a 100-point scale and by price categories, yielding the fairest ratings.
